Responsibilities:
Roll and inspect all fabrics that are delivered in a timely manner to keep the at dock report clean at the end of each month.
This includes entering the yardage into the computer, labeling fabric and putting it away.
Receiving and unloading the fabric when it arrives, confirming shipment, numbering and dating each piece.
Assist in the Piece Goods area from the time the fabric arrives at dock until the fabric is cut as a shirt.
Fills all of the spreaders and repair needs for fabric quickly, ensuring all rolls are scanned form bulk into spreading for proper inventory keeping.
Assists in Inventory counts twice a year Assist in all aspect projects:
a.
Pulling, recording, cutting all fabric sold, shipped and swatched.
b.
Record fabrics used for repurposing.
c.
Recording and creating packing slips for all fabric sent out.
d.
Updating each roll to reflect yardage used for all projects.
Pulls all fabrics needed from the suggested to move to spreading report at the end of each day.
Checking all discrepancies with what is in spreading and hunting for missing rolls when necessary Keeping your area neat and clean, remove tubes from the front, break down boxes and throw out Assist Shipping if necessary with other deliveries and UPS Must speak and understand English Basic Computer Skills required Physically fit for some Heavy Lifting up to 60 pounds Must be energetic, motivated and willing to work Very diversified job.
Candidate will also work as a spreader, spreading fabric Assist with other duties as needed.
